Abstract

Three phase asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage, are the most used devices in industrial areas. They have a simple construction, a mechanical robustness, and a low cost. In this article, we study the operation of the machine in case of a supply voltage unbalance. Then we present the approach of the Park vector, and analyze the spectral content of the stator current in the presence of this type of anomaly for the monitoring and diagnosis of the asynchronous machine.
